With the help of Richards’ father Peter Terry we have home-grown a selection of vegetables, so when the menu says home-grown it really is.

 

Our Dexter Sirloins are from Lin Blackwell at Challow Farm, Wantage.

 

When Felix Hunt is back from school he earns a few quid catching fresh water crayfish from his father’s stretch of the River Thames.

 

We use Pete the Butcher, who has British Meats in Challow nr Wantage.

 

Our fish is from New Wave Seafood in Fairford and M & J Seafood in Cirencester.

 

Our Sausages and Bacon are from Christopher Maughn at Kelmscott Country Pork.

 

Our Bread is from the Bread Bin Bakery in Carterton.

 

We use cold pressed rape seed oil in all our dressing from Sanderson Family at Stainswick Farm, Shrivenham.

 

Our free range eggs are from Joy ‘the egg lady’  at New Yatt nr Witney.

 

Our Jams are homemade with home-grown fruit.

 

Our Honey is produced in Uffington under the White Horse Hill.

 

Our Marmalade is homemade when the Seville oranges are at their best

 

Our Butter is made with milk from a jersey herd from Church Hanborough, Oxon.
